Estate #1
Well here we are back on the estate. It's funny sometimes how you can see a place every day for years and years and not notice things. Then one day something will happen and you'll see every little tiny thing you'd been ignoring, avoiding and blotting out all this time. it just hits you, just like that, a bolt out of the blue. I'm not saying I didnt know what this place was like, I didn't know it was rough or anything, I'm saying that what I knew was only scratching the surface of this place.
behind the walls and the doors and the boarded up windows is a place I don't know, a place where things happen mere feet away yet you know nothing about them. Well not until you get woken up by the noises, or see the faces of the people in the cold night of day. Faces that are closed to emotion, broken and staring right into you begging you to do something, get involved, help them, even though their mouths are saying different.
